Manchester City have agreed a partnership with German company Onefootball, becoming the first club to fully integrate their own content into the digital football platform.

The agreement marks the launch of the Onefootball Club Network this will eventually see other professional football clubs added on similar terms.

Onefootball have been trailing a content partnership with Manchester City over the last 12 month. The partnership will see the club’s editorial output on the platform and adapting it into English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Indonesian.

Going forward, the club’s content management system will be embedded into the Onefootball operations allowing all Manchester City news, including player signings, will be co-published on both platforms.

Onefootball’s Chief Executive Lucas von Cranach said: “The integration of official club content in our app is a milestone in the evolution of our product. We will keep on innovating and look forward to welcoming more clubs to our network in the near future.”
