In 2010, Majid Lavji was appointed European Director for the Gambia Football Association.
In this role, Majid secured sponsorship for the team and oversaw the rebranding of the association, which included redesigning the Gambia FA logo.

The Gambia Football Association changed its name to Gambia Football Federation.
